Who We Are
NYMAGIC, INC. is an established holding company that owns and operates New York Marine And General Insurance Company, Southwest Marine And General Insurance Company, and Gotham Insurance Company. We also own an insurance manager, MMO INC, which underwrites business on behalf of our insurance companies. Our company's head office is located in New York City, with two other offices in Chicago and on Long Island.
NYMAGIC®'s investment portfolio is managed by Mariner Partners, a registered investment advisor currently holding over $13 billion under management.
What We Do
NYMAGIC® specializes in commercial lines property and casualty and ocean marine insurance.
Our lines include:
- Ocean Marine, which provides insurance solutions for Marine Liability, Hull, Cargo, Energy, War and other Marine risks.
- Other Liability insurance, which includes both Professional Liability and Casualty insurance.
- Property & Inland Marine, which covers Property insurance, Motor Truck Cargo, Contractors Equipment insurance, and Surety bonding.
