Robert G. Simses, Chairman of the Board

Mr. Simses is Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has served as the Managing Partner of the law firm of Simses & Associates, P.A. since 2001, where he practices in the area of estate and charitable planning, trust and estate administration and taxation. From 1981 to 2001 he was a partner in the law firm of Cummings & Lockwood, where he was the partner in charge of its Palm Beach, Florida office. Since October 2002, Mr. Simses has served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of The William H. Pitt Foundation Inc., and since 2008 Mr. Simses has served on the board of directors of Tiptree Financial Partners, L.P.

George R. Trumbull, President and Chief Executive Officer

George R. Trumbull was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 4/2/2010. Mr. Trumbull previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board from June 2002 until he resigned from these positions in October 2005 and May 2008 respectively.

Prior to joining NYMAGIC, INC. Mr. Trumbull served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Encompys, Inc., a software service provider from 2001-2002. He was the CEO of AMP Limited, an Australian insurance and asset management company from 1994-1999. Mr. Trumbull also spent 24 years at CIGNA where he held a number of senior management positions.

Paul J. Hart, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary

Mr. Hart has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since March 2008. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 2002. Mr. Hart also held the position of Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of Encompys, Inc., a software services provider, from August 2001 through July 2002.

Thomas J. Iacopelli, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Iacopelli has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since March 2008. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2002. Mr. Iacopelli was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 1989 and was elected Treasurer in 2000.

Glenn R. Yanoff , Executive Vice President and President of MMO Agencies

Mr. Yanoff was appointed to his current positions of Executive Vice President of NYMAGIC, INC. and President of MMO Agencies in May 2008. He was previously a Director of the Company from 2005 to March 2008. He served as Area President of Risk Placement Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an insurance brokerage, from 2004 to 2008. From 1980 to October 2004 he was a vice president and insurance underwriter with I. Arthur Yanoff & Co., Ltd. He is also the Chief Executive Officer, President and Owner of Crackerjack Systems, Inc., a corporation that provides services to the insurance industry.

George Sutcliffe, Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer

Mr. Sutcliffe is Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer. He began his career at the Company in 1990 as a casualty loss adjuster. After earning his J.D. in 2000, he became a partner at McMahon, Martine & Gallagher, LLP, where he specialized in insurance defense litigation. He rejoined the Company in September 2006 as Senior Vice President and was appointed to his current position in March 2008.

Timothy B. McAndrew, Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer - Marine & Energy

Mr. McAndrew has been with the Company since 1989, and was appointed to his current position of Executive Vice President in August 2009. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Manager of Marine & Energy Underwriting. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. McAndrew held positions with Allstate, Navigators and Highlands Insurances Companies.

Edwin A. Skoch, Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer - Other Liabilities and Inland Marine/Fire

Mr. Skoch was appointed to his current position of Executive Vice President in August 2009. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Manager of the Professional Liability and Excess Workers’ Compensation Division, a position he has occupied for the past four years. Previously, Mr. Skoch managed excess workers’ compensation underwriting and co-managed professional liability underwriting beginning in 2003. Before that, he managed large casualty and professional liability claims. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Skoch worked in a variety of positions for insurance carriers as a claims adjuster, defense counsel and coverage counsel.

Michael P. Gabriele, Executive Vice President, Operations

Mr. Gabriele was appointed to his current position of Executive Vice President in September 2009. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Reinsurance Operations since March 2008. Mr. Gabriele was with Legion Insurance Company as Assistant Vice President - Reinsurance Collections from June 2003 to July 2004. Before joining Legion, Mr. Gabriele was with American International Group as Reinsurance Manager from September 2000 to June 2003, and with Guy Carpenter & Company as Assistant Secretary from March 1997 to September 2000.

Diane Votinelli, Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Administration

Ms. Votinelli has been with the Company since 1999. She was appointed to her current position of Senior Vice President in March 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Votinelli was with Reliance National Insurance Company from 1989 to 1999 where she was a Human Resources Manager. Before joining Reliance, she was with Frenkel & Co., Inc. Insurance Brokers from 1984 to 1989 as Administration Manager.
